There are many other brave children, like Zoe,
that need our help and yours!
Zoë was born at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital on January 31, 2012 and was immediately transferred to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego because of a very rare birth condition called Beare Stevenson syndrome. She spent most of her short life in the NICU at Children's Hospital, but sadly passed away May 25, 2012.
This was the first child for these young parents whose joy quickly turned into tragedy. The mom is employed but unfortunately while Zoe was alive, she wasn't able go back to work because of the baby's needs, and the dad is disabled, currently not working. Baby Zoe’s funeral cost $3915, a bill which the family was not prepared for and could not afford. They desperately wanted to give their little one a proper burial and borrowed funds from anywhere possible to accomplish this.
Passion 4 K.I.D.S. was contacted and within a few days of reaching out to our supporters $500 was generously donated to help with the funeral costs.
